David and Carol Joy Breed

David and Carol Joy Breed are both ordained ministers and graduates of Rhema Bible College and Domata Bible School of World Missions. They have both been working together, side by side, ministering and helping at different churches and ministries since 1997. Their journeys so far have taken them to Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Missouri, Ohio, California, Arizona, Poland, Germany and France. They enjoy traveling the world and are excited for the next adventures for Jesus Christ.

The Breed’s heart is that everyone through out the world would have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to continue growing up spiritually. Their desire is to preach the Word of God with signs, wonders, & miracles following. They teach the bible with boldness and simplicity and believe that the power of God's Word and the moving of the Holy Spirit will enable people’s lives to be changed.

David and Carol Joy were missionaries to Poland from 1998 to 2000 helping Larry and Angela Keaton establish a Church and Domata Bible School for ministers. In 2000 they went on a trip to France and started their journey in Nice and Monaco, then traveled to Paris and Vichy ministering the Word of God in different French Churches. They came back to the states and had their son Max. David and Carol Joy moved to Santa Barbara, California in 2003 and resided there for 19 years. The first 10 years David was the Associate Pastor and Carol Joy was the Children’s Pastor for West Coast Believers Church.

In 2013 West Coast Believers Church was handed over to the Breeds and they became the Senior Pastors. A few years later they felt impressed to change the name of their church from West Coast Believers Church to Believers International Church. This church supported and prayed for different international ministries and built an online church website that helped reach other nations. This website kept building and has hundreds of free study materials and over 600 teaching videos that are from their YouTube channel. This channel has over 13K subscribers with over 1.6 million views.

Back in 1985, when David was in France on one of his many competitive BMX freestyle bike tours, something dropped deep into David’s heart for the nation of France. He couldn’t get away from it and has been praying for this nation for many years. During the last 2 of the 9 years pastoring, they were praying out a change coming in their ministry. France was getting stronger and stronger in their prayer times and felt a burning desire on the inside that France was getting closer than ever.

When 2022 came, things began happening very quickly. They took a trip to Poland and Germany and ministered at a conference where several people received the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This jolted them with the burning desire for missions. After much prayer and planning, on July 31, 2022, Pastors David & Carol Joy handed Believers International Church over to Pastors Lonnie and Dana Shrader.

David and Carol Joy currently reside in Terre Haute, Indiana along with their son, Max and their cat, Claudia. They have begun their new journey and the next phase of their ministry called Breed Life Missions. They are basing their ministry out of Faith Outreach Church with Pastors J.C. and Kimberley Neff. During this transition, they are helping Faith Outreach Church and ministering there when asked.

The Breeds are also networking and building relationships with other pastors in various cities. They plan to travel to churches ministering the Word of God and sharing their passion for France. After taking a trip to France for a month in 2023 they have received the next steps to move to France. The first part of the plan God is unfolding is to start Cornerstone Word of Life Bible Institute in France. They are working side by side with Pastors Mark and Rhonda Garver and their team to strategize each phase of this plan. This year, the Breed’s are working on getting visas so that they can move to France, to help strengthen the Body of Christ in France.
